This afternoon Jackson and Audrey helped me bake some cookies. Audrey has been home sick the last two days, so she helped just by being in my arms while I was mixing the ingredients...she didn't want to be put down, and since she's been running a pretty high fever, I decided to indulge her.
When Jackson got home from day care, he helped roll out the dough and use the cookie cutters. He was such a good little helper!

By the end of the day, Audrey seemed to be feeling much better, so hopefully, she's on the mend!
We've been cooking a little every day since Saturday with the next two days being the marathon cooking days. We're looking forward to visiting with family and eating lots of good food!

Hey Elizabeth! If you are in Shreveport and have any extra time (which I know is hard to come by) let me know. We have Thursday afternoon plans, but nothing to speak of that night or Friday/Saturday. Happy Thanksgiving!
